Description
The 113' steel tower with 12' x 12' cab was constructed on Mount St. Leonard in 1988, replacing a tower that served for 40 years. The original lookout was a tree tower established in the 1930s. The Melbourne Water lookout overlooks the Maroondah-Cement Creek Catchment and adjacent state forest lands.
