Description
This tower is located off an unmarked Forest Service Road, inaccessible by vehicle. The tower can be accessed by a three quarter mile hike. As of August 2025, the tower is in great condition, no vandalism seen, stairs are mostly intact. A fence lined with razor wire around the stair case has evidently played a role at maintaining this tower's condition.
The tower has mostly been forgotten, Forest Service volunteers at the Payne Lake Recreation area did not know if the tower was still standing.
