Description
Constructed by the U.S. Forest Service in the mid-1930s, Buffalo Lookout Tower remained active until 1987. The 100’ Aermotor tower with 7’x7’ metal cab is located on the Bayou/Buffalo Ranger District of the Ozark National Forest.
