Description

Crossroads Fire Tower was constructed in 1935 by the Arkansas Forestry Commission. It was a 100' Aermotor tower with 7'x7' metal cab. In ca. 1940 the cab was raised when an additional 20' vertical section was added, making it one of the highest towers in the state. Decommissioned in 1985, it is now owned by the City of Hamburg.
