Fun Fact! This tower can be seen in HBO's True Detective Season 3
QUOTE (The Madison County Journal / Huntsville, AR on May 30, 1940) – “It is pointed out that the forest fire lookout tower located six miles south of Huntsville has been completed all except the telephone installation. The second tower in Madison County is now nearing completion, this one being located on Swain mountain about one mile from Madison-Carroll county line near highway 23.”
