Overlooking the north end of Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Black Pinnacle Lookout is a unique wood ground house reached by a series of metal steps atop on a black rock pinnacle (appropriately) with a remarkable 360-degree view. The Navajo Reservation site was constructed in 1936 and remains a key detection station.
