Red Hill Lookout is on a 7751’ mountaintop on the Kaibab National Forest. In the 1920s a wooden tower was used for detection. It was replaced in 1958 with a metal Cl-100 14’x14’ cab with flat corrugated roof on a 10’ concrete block base. It is often used early in the season when the snowpack does not allow access to other lookouts.
