| Comments: | I suppose it could be painted, but I think the natural wood looks fine. It's rather creaky when walking around the deck. |

| Comments? | It's not easy to find Big Mountain Rd off of Hwy 299. It's at mile marker 19.81 about a mile west of Hayden Flat Campground. Once you find it, there is a sign showing the lookout is 13 miles up. It's primarily a narrow gravel road. When you're about a mile from the lookout, the road forks...go right on the more traveled road. |
