Description
This tower, Plan Number 889-lA , is based upon the Fredonyer Lookout design. There are only five Fredonyer style towers in the State. The cab is the standard 7 3 2-6A . The existing Manzanita Lookout building replaced the original ECW lookout which had been constructed for the Modoc National Forest in 1934. CDF assumed operation of this site in the early 1970s.
