Description
One of the last built by the CCC in California, Mount Tom Lookout is on the High Sierra Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. The 14' x 14' C-3 wooden cab with catwalk is atop a 30-32' K-braced steel tower with an unusual straight stairway. It is still in active service.
