Description
The site of Park Ridge Lookout on the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park was first used for fire detection in 1916. In 1929 a two story live-in wooden lookout was constructed by the USFS and UPS. Now staffed by volunteers from the Buck Rock Foundation, this 13'x13' CL-100 cab on a 20' tower went into service in 1967.
