Description
Round Mountain Lookout was constructed in 1937 and rebuilt in 1956. The cabin is a California Region 5 BC-1401, a 1949 revision of the BC-301 on a 9 foot block tower.
The lookout received an extensive remodel in 2002 and continues to be staffed for fire detection.
