Description
Smyrna Fire Tower is last of the very tall (130 ft.) towers that once dotted the mid-Atlantic states. Located along divided highway US 13 adjacent to a State Visitor Center, the tower was built by the Delaware Forest Service in 1941. The tower was sold and moved in Aug 2004.
