Description

This 60-foot Aermotor tower stands beside a Georgia Forestry Commission office in Dahlonega, Georgia. It is no longer in active use but continues to be maintained by the office. The tower is signed as state property, but the office staff will escort visitors up the tower.

The tower predates the office and the workshop on site, having been erected sometime in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
