Description
The original Austin Ridge Lookout on the Clearwater National Forest was an L-4 on 30' pole tower. It was replaced in 1960 with this 15'x15' R-6 cab with catwalk on a 53' timber tower. Staffed until the early 1990s, it was formerly in the rental program but is now inactive.
