Description
The first facility on Bald Mountain Hill Lookout was a cabin built in 1913 which was replaced with an L-4 cab on a 50’ pole tower in 1938. This R-6 flattop cab with catwalk on a 41’ timber tower was built in 1960. Refurbished in 1998, it is on the Clearwater National Forest cabin rental program.
