Description
The first structure at Chair Point Lookout on the Nez Perce National Forest was a log cabin which is still there. The accompanying 45’ log tower with a L-6 cab was replaced in 1953 with an L-4 cab on a 41’ timber tower. The present R-6 flat cab with catwalk on a 41’ timber tower went into service in 1980.
