Description

Built in 1935 on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Duck Creek Point Lookout is a 10'x10' cab similar to an L-5. Originally a ground house, a 9' log base was added in 1944. No longer staffed, it received a new roof in 2004.

Comments: Missing one shutter. Several panes of glass missing. Appears water tight. No evidence of packrats! Door does not latch. Leftover shingles in log crib. No holes in roof. Stairs very shakey. 18 inch catwalk with little railings. Wood floor without holes.
