Description
Still in service on the Clearwater National Forest, Hemlock Butte Lookout is a 14’x14’ L-4 cab with catwalk on a 54’ tower built in 1954. Previous lookouts art the site were a roofed platform (1919), D-6 cupola cabin (1923), and an L-4 on a 50’ pole tower (1934).
