Description

The first structure at Pilot Knob Lookout was a 10’x10’ frame cabin built in 1922. This classic 1932 model hip roof L-4 cab on a 10’ tower was built in 1939. Still in service on the Nez Perce National Forest, is it one of the few with a Bosworth fire finder. The lookout is regularly staffed every year.
