The Goat Peak Lookout Tower is on the north-western side of the Mount Tom State Reservation in Holyoke Massachusetts. It is accessible by several trails branching off Reservation Road, which bisects the forest. Goat Peak (822') is a subsidiary peak of Mt. Tom (1,202'). At the top are views of Easthampton to the West, and the Seven Sisters range on Skinner State Park and UMass Amherst to the North.
Goat Peak Lookout tower was built in 1928 and is still maintained to this day. It is about 42' feet tall with a 15.5' base. The steel frame rests atop four concrete bollards. It is painted green. The viewing platform is a 10' square and is reached by three sets of stairs. The platform floor was recently replaced with fresh lumber as of 2025. The tower is currently used for recreational viewing, and for witnessing the annual southern hawk migration each fall.
