Description
Located on the Shawme-Crowell State Forest, the first Sandwich Fire Tower was constructed by the CCC in 1934. It was a 60’ Aermotor tower with 7’x7’ steel cab. In 1966 it was replaced with the present 75’ steel tower with 10’x10’ wooden cab Telegraph Hill.
