Description
Located on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, the original lookout was a 50’ tower built in 1917 and served until 1944. A temporary wooden tower near Edgartown was put into service until the present Vineyard Fire Tower, 68’ with a 10’x10’ wooden cab, was constructed in 1950.
