The 100’ Church Creek Forestry Tower is a 120’ Aermotor tower with 7’x7’ metal cab with a rooftop catwalk. It was constructed by the Maryland Forest Service in 1932. Located at the Church Creek Forestry station, it is used in emergencies. As of 2017, the state plans to reduce the tower to 40-feet in height and renovate it as part of an educational display.
