Description

Built in 1935 by the Minnesota DNR, the Bemidji Fire Tower served as a lookout for 60 years. Decommissioned and transferred to MN DOT for an antenna site, the 100’ Aermotor tower with 7’x7’ metal cab became surplus again in 2006. In 2007 the Boy Scouts moved it to BSC Camp Wilderness where it was restored and reconstructed as an 80’ tower next to the mess hall.
