Description
Still in active service on the Bitterroot National Forest, Bare Cone Lookout was first a two story log cabin in 1922. In the 1930s an L-4 was built on a 10’ tower which served until the present R-6 cab with catwalk on a 10’ concrete block base was built in 1962.
