Description
Mineral Peak Lookout lies adjacent to the Rattlesnake Wilderness north of Missoula. The 53’ timber tower is the third on the site. Although built in 1957, the Forest Service topped it with a pre-cut kit model L-4 cab kit in 1936. lt is one of only three remaining 1936-style L-4s on the Lolo National Forest.
