One of three structures with a short hip roof, Mount Brown Lookout is the oldest remaining lookout in Glacier National Park. It was constructed in 1929. The lookout is reached by a 7-mile trail.
From 1949 to 1951, Mount Brown Lookout was manned by lookouts Raymond and Marie Matheny.
