Description
Located on the Hocking Hills State Forest, Ash Cave Fire Tower was constructed in 1934. The 80’ Aermotor tower with 7’x7’ metal cab has recently been restored and repainted by the fire tower restoration project of the Ohio Division of Forestry with the cooperation of the Ohio Division of the Forest Fire Lookout Association.

| Comments: | Site has just been opened to public <br /> <br />climbing, however there is no access to the cab. This is the <br /> <br />first time I have been able to climb it in three years of visiting <br /> <br />the site. There are signs that say "Only 6 visitors permitted to <br /> <br />climb tower at one time" and "All visitors climb at own risk" |
