Description
Shawnee Lookout is the last fire tower standing on the Wayne National Forest in Ohio. The 110-foot galvanized steel tower, with a 7- by 7- ft. cab, was constructed by the CCC in 1936. Shawnee Tower is the first to be listed in Ohio and the third nationwide.
