Description
A cabin with an open roof for a fire-finder was built on Mount Ireland in 1916. The fire-finder was later enclosed.
The new CL-100 13x13 ground cab was constructed in 1957 after blasting the old structure off the mountain.
The lookout is regularly staffed.
