Description
South of Grants Pass overlooking federal BLM land is Round Top Lookout. First put into service by the Oregon Dept. of Forestry in 1950 as an L-4 on a 20’ pole tower, it was replaced in 1973 with the current ODF flattop live-in cab with catwalk on a 20’ treated timber tower. It is in active service.
