Description
There have been many Sexton Mountain Lookouts built by the Oregon Dept. of Forestry. The first was a tent in 1914, followed by a cupola cab ground house in 1921. In 1932 a small house with cupola was constructed and replaced with an ODF flat cab on a 30’ wooden tower in 1963. That lookout was burned by vandals in 2006 and replaced with this flat roof cab on 40’ steel tower in 2007.
