Description
The first Kenyon (Signal Tree) Lookout was a cupola cabin built by the Coos Forest Protection Association in the 1920s. In 1935 a 100' timber tower with an L-6 cab replaced it. The present 53' treated wood tower with an Oregon Department of Forestry flatroof live-in cab was constructed in 1961 and is in active service.
