Description
A classic early lookout site in eastern Oregon, Table Rock’s first structure, Table Rock Lookout began as a cupola built in the early 1920s. It was replaced with a 14’ x 14’ L-4 cab with catwalk in 1937, and again with a new L-4 in 1949. Still in active service it is located in the southern tip of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest in the Monument Rock Wilderness.
