Description
This Aermotor LS-40 tower with 7'x7' cab was originally constructed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry in 1925 as a 60' tower and located on land approximately 1/2 mile from the present location. It was relocated to its present location and raised to 80 feet in 1932 after a dispute with the landowners of the original site.
The tower is now privately owned, and the lower steps have been removed.
