Description

The current tower is the third one on this site. The original wooden tower was located on the southeastern corner of the lot and was replaced by a steel tower in 1946 in approximately the same location as the current tower.

Comments: As far as Rhode Island towers go, Chopmist Hill is in the top 2 best condition towers. The shingles on the cab should be replaced in some places, but otherwise the tower looks good.
