Description
This is a refurbished Aermotor MC-39 originally manufacutred in Chicago in the 1930s and installed in western Montana for the U.S. Forest Service. It was in service for 60 years and then decommissioned in 1995. It was then refurbished by Davanna LLC at Bloomingdale, NY and refitted with metal stairs, platform, and cabin.
The tower was reconstructed in January 2023 at its new location in Spring, Texas.
