Description
The Crafton Gate Lookout Tower is a 120-foot steel tower built in the 1930's, originally as a lookout for the thriving lumber industry in Charlotte County, as was the Phenix Fire Tower. It was used in unison with the VA Dept of Forestry. It is still owned by them today.
