Description
Located near Pleasant Shade in Brunswick County, Virginia, Pleasant Shade Fire Tower was first erected in 1933. This tower is constructed of galvanized steel and has a 7’x7’ cab. Manufactured by Aermotor Co., the tower is 100' tall. The tower is still operational during periods of high fire danger to support aerial detection.
