Description
Overlooking some of the driest flash fuels in Washington, Knowlton Knob was developed by the State Div. of Forestry in 1934 with a ground L-4 cab. In 1966 the present 40' timber tower with 14' x 14' DNR flat-gable was built. It was in service until 1997 when it went to emergency status.
