Description

One of Washington’s most remote and scenic lookouts, Miners Ridge is located within the Glacier Peak Wilderness on the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Reached only by a 12 mile hiking trail, the 20’ wooden tower with a L-4 1 4x 14’ live-in cab with catwalk was constructed in 1953. It is the third on the site, the first being a cedar shake cabin, and the second a similar 20’ tower. The lookout has been active for 65 years.
