Description
Built in 1926, Mingo Mountain Fire Tower sits atop the summit of Horsepen Mountain, which serves as the Mingo-Logan county line in southern West Virginia. The summit has several communications towers in addition to the fire tower. The tower was staffed until the end of the WV fire tower system in 1990.
