Description

Aztec Peak Lookout was erected in 1956 on the Pleasant Valley Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest. It replaced a wooden D-6 cupola groundhouse built in 1925. It is a steel tower with flat roof steel 14’ x 14’ CL-100 cab. The lookout continues in active service.
