Description

Built in 1926 atop Lake Mountain, the 48' Aermotor LX-24 lookout and lookout cabin are in active service. The original ladder was replaced in the 1930s with stairs. The lookout is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as is the nearby Los Burros Ranger Station site.
