Description
While operational only during high fire danger in recent years, Delilah Lookout on the Sequoia National Forest has been a detection site since 1916. In 1924 a tower with a ground residence went into service until 1959. The present 40' metal tower with live-in cab was moved to the site in 1967 from Lenore Naval Air Base.

| Comments: | Great views. A weekend lookout was present, otherwise it is locked up. I didn't check the wood or shutters carefully, but it seemed OK. |
