Leek Spring Hill Lookout was built in 1961, a National Plan, 1959 revision CL-100 cabin on a 30 foot K-Brace open steel tower.

| Comments: | This LO is Manned. There is no plans to close this LO at this time. Visitors are welcome. There are 2 picinic tables at the base of the LO & a public outhouse. Water is available here. Directions : From Jackson, Ca drive EAST on california 88. Drive past Pioneer, Ca and drive past HAM's STATION. Look for the sign for the MORMON EMIGRANT TRAIL to the LEFT. Turn here. This is Forest Route 5. Follow the signs to the LO a short 3 or 4 mi. 2 Wheel Drive can make it easy. |
