The only remaining L-R tower in Boundary County, Idaho, Hughes Ridge Lookout is located in a remote corner of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests inhabited by woodland caribou and grizzly bears. The 41’ wooden tower has a 14’ x 14’ live-in cab and catwalk.
Lookout Vern Marschall staffed this lookout during the summers of 1965 and 1966.
