Description
Little Guard Lookout is located northwest of Interstate 90 and Lookout Pass on the Coeur d'Alene National Forest in Idaho. The 14- by 14-ft. live-in cab, on a 10-ft. concrete block base, was constructed in 1956. It replaced a wooded cupola-type lookout built in 1929. The lookout is still manned and maintained by the Wallace Ranger District.
