This L-4 ground cab lookout was restored in 1989 by a former 1961 lookout staff member. In 1985 it was to be burned and he contacted the Forest Service.  He repaired the hardwood floors, door, two shutters, catwalk, and steps.  It was also painted. There appear to be some recent improvements based on the tools/supplies inside the lookout.
